DRAMA
Drama is an important and valuable part of school life. As well as being hugely enjoyable it is an excellent way of building up pupils' confidence and self-esteem.
It starts from the earliest age with the youngest children dressing up, then leads on to Drama games, role playing and improvisation. These all lead to shows and performances, ranging from the younger children’s Summer Show to the older children’s annual play – recent productions include ‘The Wizard of Oz’ and ‘The Pied Piper’. There are also more informal Drama presentations so that the pupils can display their work to the school and their parents. The children also enter local Festivals where they achieve fantastic results.
There is a thriving Drama Club where the children have a great time and also learn to take their Drama and abilities to a new level.
